If you use spicy stew to get up construction levels, could I eat some, get to 50 and build a portal room, or wont I be able to?

Hmmm, I'm not too sure about stew, but I do remember drinking tea to get my level up to build the Portal Chamber.

Both stew and tea are acceptable for raising your construction level if you want to build rooms. Only the crystal saw has restrictions (you only get +3 con to build items that REQUIRE a use of a saw).
