Vinnie14
Hi guys and gals. I have a problem When trying to install one of my old games as i fancied playing it again after a good period of not doing so. (you know how it is  ) I get an error message when i put the disk in the drive. It says "The Application or DLL D\MSVBVM60.DLL is not a valid windows image" D is the disc drive letter. This never happend when i played it before. Any ideas as to what could be wrong and how to fix it? thanks in advance Vinnie  RSN: Civic_TypeR :)
rodl
If it's a really old game it may not work on windows XP and higher since it was probably designed for Windows 95-98.
zonda
Could be two things - it might be that your MSDN files need to be updated for whatever reason (I had to do this to start some C++ and VB proggies way back in like... 1999) otherwise, try running the game in compatability mode. Just right click the icon >> properties >> compatability tab >> trial and error. If that still doesn't work, microsoft has an advanced compatibility tool you can download off their site... but its a pain in the keester and not worth the trouble (especially because it doesn't work more then 80% of the time) ...
