I've killed banshees lots before, but after my recent assignment i was getting wasted by them. on my second one i had eaten 25hp worth of food, and had to turn on protect from meelee . They almost killed me! They were hitting very constant 6's and up to 10? I was wearing full green dhide as i heard it was best because they were mage based. But was this a glitch or a bug or something? I mean i'm lvl 80 with 62 def, they shouldn't be hitting me faster and for more than i can with my whip. Whats up with this? Normally I can go 100+ on a load of 8 cakes, and have leftovers!

you probaly did not wear earmuffs

 

otherwise the highest they hit is 2 if u wear thenm
