Getting the Fire Cape ( help )

Well i so want to get a Fire Cape now and i had a try but failed :cry: i followed the guide from this site and got very far, i think i was about 3-4 waves away from jad, but sadly ran out of prayer potions ( took 15 four dose prayer potions ).

 

 

 

Now i was told that using super restore potions and sara brews was better than prayer potions, but im not sure what to do for the best.

 

 

 

i know what to do inside the cave it is just a matter of doing it, i have watched countless videos on youtube and read the guide from here.

 

 

 

so... what are the best items to take inside the cave and should i use a new crystal bow or karils x bow, any other advice you have will help me out alot too!

 

 

 

i think i have enough money to waste for around 4 attempts so please help me get my Fire Cape.

Well I'm admitting you know everything there is to know about fighting Jad: where to stand at start, what movements = what prayer, etc.

 

 

 

Here's what I took for my Fire Cape attempt: (can see vid on Youtube by searching for "Voldmort0")

 

 

 

Inventory:

 

 

 

16 super restores

 

5 sara brews

 

1 range pot

 

2 sharks (for quick hp against healers at Jad)

 

Guthans Plate, Skirt and Spear

 

extra full CBow

 

 

 

Equipped:

 

Guthans helm

 

full CBow

 

Blk D hide body

 

Blk d hide chaps

 

Ranger boots

 

Fury

 

Barrows gloves

 

Skill cape

 

Archer ring

 

 

 

Also a friend of mine with 99 ranged and 61 prayer managed to kill jad easy with 16 super restores. (same inventory I posted above)

 

Since you are 71 ranged, I'd suggest 17 super restores, 5 sara brews, 2 range pots. So you'll have to rely on your skill to not get hit too much while trying to get to Jad.

i'll have to buy an archer ring, before my attempt but i have everything else, so i should be able to do it...

 

 

 

also what is jads first attack? i heard it was a range attack is that true?

His first attack varies. I use Range pro first and sound on if I hear a rocket-like sound i put on magic pro, if not I just keep ranged pro on and wait till im atked so i run to him (auto always on vs jad)

 

Also take 2 c bows: first one for all creatures until jad, then use new one on Jad.
