Memories..

Lets see if this one doesn't get deleted like the last two shall we ? I realise I write a little darkly at times but they were hardly likely to give anyone nightmares.. :roll:

I'm sitting here in agony

Burning ice runs down my face

Screams bubbling up my throat

everything falling out of place

I want to rip my heart apart

Perhaps then this wouldn't hurt

Like a thousand fires exploding

Thowing my life into the dirt

Tonight we relived our lives

Word by word with sweet laughter

But near the surface swam our tears

Taking us further into everafter

Lets petition the gods my love

Take us back, please take us back

To that time when all was sweet

When our path was so on track

Please lets just turn the pages

To the wonder of those days

When it was all so very simple

And nothing got in our way

Yet through so many changes

And the twists and turns of time

My hands still hold fast to yours

and my steps still walk your line

You should never fear to lose me

I'm bound to you so tight

Just understand these memories

won't let me sleep at night
