The seeker

Hair of flowing black raven

Glowing eyes in a pale face

Bored And contemptuous

Of the frail human race

Through the mists of time

He moves with no trouble

Quietly seeking his mate

His blood promised double

To keep her safe and well

Hidden from ignorant men

He sent her to the future

Not knowing what it meant

For while he stayed behind

To fight for their right to live

She moved through many times

The centuries taking her captive

Approaching her home he finds

Her standing before a window

Skin of pale ivory porcelain

Hair a vivid white moonsglow

Icy heart shatters to splinters

Blood pumps through ancient heart

The curse on mankind is screamed

And it rents the air apart

The heavens thunder and open

Black hail beats the earth

Her eyes begin to flash obsedian

Slender body begins rebirth

A spoken word from crimson mouth

Crashing glass flying through air

Her walking forward hand outstretched

Entire being now fatefully aware

Pulling her to him, howling in joy

Around them humans dying by degrees

Laughing and dancing in the blood

They watch earth begin to cease

Flick of finger, incantation flows

A portal shimmers open and awaits

No backward glances as they step in

And disappear to relive their fates

Mankind will forever rue the day

Immortal lovers were torn in two

Now bound back to each other as one

Eternal revenge has come due

Blood of our blood, cleave unto us

Let those who transgressed pay

The price for ignorance and hatred

Let this curse forever stay.
