*edit* IMPORTANT: whether or not i come up with new stories of his actual life (and continue on after part (2), which finishes off his childhood/early adulthood) depends on whether or not u guys like it. so please rate if u do, and give me an honest bad rating if u dont. i can only write on weekends cuz im busy with school, so updated wont come often; but when they do, i will try my best do render full justice on these stories.

Prelude to Deusapius: His Life and Conquests

In the future, there shall be wars. Wars not only between men and beast, but among men themselves, for this is not unprecedented. Long before the Kingdoms of Kandarin, Asgarnia, and Misthalin were established, man was but another of Guthix̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s creatures, wandering about the land of Saradomin.

Before civilization was established, men were nomadic. Not only that, but savages- brutal and fierce, struggling to survive among each other. No sense of civility or honor existed then as it does now; no one then could perceive the degree of dignity among, for example, the White Knights of Falador that exists today.

Rather, savagery was the maxim by which all lived. Even the noblest of the ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Ånobles̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

The second tale begins with the preparation of Deusapius̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ leaving of Reighton, so that he could embark upon a journey to become stronger and wiser.

Though no one could claim for sure what exactly happened, the records show that Deusapius was encountered by a wanderer. Where from this old man came, no one uncovered; but for all the desire in Deusapius̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ heart to leave Reighton and embolden himself upon his quest, this old man convinced Deusapius to stay for three more days.

The townspeople of Reighton were shocked that Deusapius̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ heart, which like gold is strong yet pure, could be moved by an old man. But what the old man was rumored to have asked of Deusapius could not be denied, for the old man pleaded with Deusapius to venture into the wilderness to find his son. He would die within three days and longed to see his son once more, who had at an early age been adopted by Zamorak̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s wizards and kept prisoner by them.

Deusapius could not refuse the old man; this elder seemed to hold a power over Deusapius that no mortal could exist. In fact, it is often conjectured that the old man was Guthix, in disguise, testing Deusapius̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ strength, courage, but most important- and what distinguishes god from man, and man from beast- his passion. His compassion and empathy for those who suffer, this passion that would later make him the greatest leader of man.

And so Deusapius left for the wilderness the very hour, with naught but a sword and bow. The townspeople of Reighton waited day and night, day and night, day and night, until finally, after three days and nights, Deusapius returned to Reighton empty-handed. His armor was tattered, his face bruised, his hair mangled, and his sword and bow simply gone.

Deusapius, later revived, told of his exhausting three days with a fear that ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬Åno villager had heretofore seen in our hero,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

Powerful story, well told.

A lot of effort has gone into this and I can see you have great talent. Keep it up.
