I just need to clear something up... Is it against the rules to use SwiftSwitch? I know there was some controversy about the rule change, so I was just wondering if it was actually legal.

As far as I know, SwiftSwitch has changed their client to coincide with the Jagex rule update on third-party clients. However, they still highly recommend that you do not use such clients for safety reasons. Regardless of Jagex's leniency, Tip.it still does not allow the discussion or promotion of SwiftSwitch and/or other third-party clients. For more information, see section 1.1 of the Tip.it Forum Rules :)
