well i couldnt find any good tutorials on sprites that didnt use photoshop

 

so i decided to make one on my own in paint

 

please give me some pointers on how to fix it

At the moment i can't really see the full form of the muffin.

To me, the forearm/hand/axe handle seem to big. Not to familiar with sprites so I can't really tell you much C/C.

 

 

 

I do, however, know some Paint tricks that you might like to use (If you don't know them already). Use a selection tool and select the sprite or anything you want and hold Ctrl and press the '+' or '-' key on the numeric keypad. It increases/decreases the size but doesn't really distort the picture.

 

 

 

You can change the size of brushes, the pencil tool, and the eraser to be bigger and smaller than the ones in the little box by using the same Ctrl +/- thing.

 

 

 

You can also make custom brushes in paint. Make the brush type you want, say a pentagon. Select the pentagon and turn transparency on, hold in shift and drag the selection around, it works like a brush. You can also do a quick copy-paste using this. Select the image, hold shift and move the image a few pixels in any direction, release shift and you have the copied image to move around.
