July 15, 200718 yr At E3 (And I forgot about this) I just remembered Atlus is coming out with a new Trauma Center. The game takes place in 2007, 10 years before the events of Second Opinion and is the pinnacle of Caduceus. So no, Derek Stiles and Angie won't be in this game :cry: However, there are many improvements that can lead to a successful Trauma Center 4. The pre-story goes something like this: New Blood puts players behind the surgical masks of Markus Vaughn and Valerie Blaylock. The brunette duo run an Alaskan hospital free of the bureaucracy of big city medicine, but when the doors to the ER are mysteriously closed, the MDs take their healing touch to the Concordia Medical Institute in Los Angeles and -- eventually -- to the pinnacle of top-secret operations, Caduceus. No flaming about how you don't trust IGN, since every sight about this game says the same thing! The improvements are astounding! From now on, it's complete voice over, so it won't be a pain-in-the-[wagon] reading it. You might think it's weird that we still have the tools from the second opinion (i.e., the antibiotic gel). However, it's the pinnacle of Caduceus, so it makes sense. Well, to me it does. More improvements: I guess it's an okay improvement, but it's in 16:9 widescreen. So yay I say. Still, I'm a tad upset about why it's set in 2007/2008 (Since second opinion is set in 2017 or 2018...), because I wanted to see if things would work out between Derek and Angie... :cry: Anyway, more improvements graphic wise: Looks the same, the vital meter is different...hehe... Lastly, my favorite part...The new disease. Truly, we haven't a clue, but from second opinion, this will lead me to thinking since Angies father ran away at around this time, this must be the first guilt--AKA "An experimental guilt gone wrong" since he helped create it. My extremely favorite part, and I hope yours: This game is going global, not only through wifi, but using co-op with your friends, you can do surgery together. I'm definatly stoked for that! In a way, the new characters look cool, Caduceus's beginning, and of course New blood will probably be a smash hit. This might lead us to the fourth, hopefully with Derek Stiles and Angie, maybe with them married and Angie pregnant or something cute like that. We'll see... It comes out this Holiday Season, so prep for this one, fake medical community!
