Otherwise, with your prayer level, you will have to go through a load of ppots per trip. I would get your slayer up to 55 and use slayer dart. I'm not sure when meleeing them with whip becomes worthwhile since I've never heard much about it. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=485559 -- this guide helps quite a bit for Veracing barrows. If you want to melee them with a whip and Torags, well, I can't really help you there since I've never tried it.
