I know of some monsters with high drops rates for bloods, deaths, etcs. But I am interested to know what you all think are the best of the best monsters to kill for any type of rune.

Fire Runes - Harpie Bug Swarms, Pyrefiends, Fire Giants, Lesser Demons

 

Water Runes - Green Dragons

 

Death Runes - Infernal Mages

 

Cosmic Runes - Shadow Warriors

 

Earth Runes - Trolls

 

Blood Runes - Bloodvelds

 

Chaos Runes - Harpie Bug Swarms, Lesser Demons

 

Nature Runes - Basilisks

 

Air Runes - ? not sure who is the best ?

 

 

 

And of course there elementals in the Elemental Workshop in Seers - they drop corresponding runes quite a lot.

Cockatrices drop them alot.
