The cry was heard across thirteen provinces. It was a universal sign of destruction. The people of Thalin-dur and Nura-malin screamed as the dragons swooped in to eliminate their assignments. As the people scrambled in hopes of sanctuary, they wondered who would be next. So far, the dragons hadnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t followed a noticeable pattern, but they always seemed to know who to go after. The biggest question, however, was this: Who was sending the dragons? It obviously was the same person because all the dragons had the same armor and crest. The crest however, wasnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t recognized by anyone, even the ancients of the provinces. The only ones that could ever make out the pattern on the crest were dead a few seconds later.

 

 

 

After the attack, everyone gathered at the center and a census was taken. Fourteen people were lost in the massacre. The villagers pondered what to do.
