Yes cave crawlers are poisonous and rarely hit, so to be on the safe side bring about 4-5 anti pots.

 

 

 

Best place to kill them would be in lummby caves, but you have to be very careful that your light source doesn't go out otherwise you die by rapid 1' until the bugs kill you.

 

 

 

Those monsters are also a good herb\2nd dropper so try to keep your inventory clear so you can pick them up.
