September 10, 200718 yr Hi tip.it, i would like to talk about the new updated chat on rs, i think it really annoying myself becouse i cant see now whether my friend is talking to me, or the clan chat or people in general. You really have to be used to it if you want to chat normally... I guess a lot of people understand my problem... What i know from anouther game is that they use TeamSpeak Program for talking while online. I have tried it myself and it is really so much better. You can use it in a lot of different ways, there are different chat rooms, like help or like wilderness chat room. In runescape clans could have their own room. The only thing is, that you need to log in onto a server, which should be provided by a runescape community. There are a lot of them on the web but, is it not a good idea to have that feauture?
September 10, 200718 yr Are you suggesting Jagex integrate something like TS into the runescape client? This could prover a disaster for the (supprisingly high number) players who still use 56k modems. I think the game client is alredy pushing 56k as far as it can go without causing lag on moderate to high quality connections.
