"connecting to update server"

iam trying to play runescape from work. i can get the applet to start loading but once it hits the "connecting to update server" it basically freezes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

anyone have a similar problem? and if you have, did you find a solution.

btw i have used the search button, their have been 2 previous threads about this, but none had a solution at the end of the thread
