Still getting pop-ups

Featured Replies

I'm using firefox. I have the 'block popups' part ticked. i run ad-aware weekly. any ideas why i'ms till getting them?

If you're just getting them from some websites and it's bothering you that much. You can install Adblock Plus. It's an add-on for Firefox that will block just about anything you want it to.

One thing you could do is download the Google Toolbar..it has a good pop-up blocker if you dont mind having google below your address bar. You could also download adblocker plus...it's better than GT in my opinion. If you keep getting them, I'd download spybot: S&D and scan for adware.

If you find some, then look at your cookies in Firefox. If you download Adblocker plus, I'd block the following:

*.tribalfusion.com

*.burstnet.com

*.com.com

*.advertising.com

Anything like those sites..those are the ones that install adware.
