Do these spells have a period of time when people get immune to the holding effect like ice spells? Or can you just cast away and as long as the spells don't splash the person will be bound?

After being frozen there is a few seconds after they are able to move where it will say "this person is immune to this spell" or something close to that.

 

 

 

Yes, in both normal and ancient ice spells have the same immunity.
