Question for the high lvl farmers

Featured Replies

Hello

So far, I trained farming by planting loads of herbs (got seeds from slaying and bought some as well) and all the trees and fruittrees I got from my kingdom (nests from the maples). I only plant watermelons when my compostbin is empty, since I have trouble buying loads of watermelonseeds.

So far I've always paid the farmers to look after my trees. This has got me to lvl 90.

I would like to start spending more money on farming now, buying mages and palmtrees.

My question is: would it be a better idea to buy more seeds and let the occasional tree die or buy both the seeds and the items to pay farmers?

An other question could be: should I put more effort in finding watermelons, as these give pretty good xp as well if I would plant some on every herbtour (hopefully the store update will help me find seeds)?

Ty for your advice

Personally, I find that I suffer from a 25% die off rate, if I fail to pay a farmer to look after my tree. That doesn't sound too bad, but considering that you have to wait the best part of a full day for the tree to grow, I find this intolerable.

Personally I pay the farmers every time, and on the rare occassions that I cannot do so, I always make sure that I use a supercompost, and my nature ammy if available.

In addition to this, I suspect that payments may become easier to come by once the Exchange is released this week :)
