In looking at quest list....the eagles peak at hunter lvl. 27 looks to be the quest that requires the highest hunter level.

 

 

 

 

 

I am level 50 hunter at the orange salamanders and thinking about quitting. Not sure there is much more benefit for me on the hunter skill.

 

 

 

I am trying to get all skills over lvl. 50 and most over 70 before tackling several of the quests. I know I probably should do the quests to get xp points in skills.

Yes, 27 is the maximum hunter level needed to complete quests.
