Recently i got attacked by the latest msn virus.. (auto downloader virus)

 

 

 

Ran a scan.. and found the above mentioned virus..

 

 

 

I got rid of it after a few registry editing..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, i am more concern of this phrase;

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"PWSteal.Lineage is a Trojan horse that attempts to steal the password to the "Lineage" online game and send it to the creator of the Trojan. "

No, "Lineage" is just another online game (just like Runescape, WoW, Matrix Online, PristonTale, etc. etc.), not some kind of genre or something. I think it's very popular in Asia especially - but I've never played it so that's all I can tell you.

It just means you've been looking at the wrong kind of sites (pr0n is my first suspect) or opened a weird email attachment. Probably. :)

Pron sites? haha.. nah.. i merely surf game webby.. i heard certain webby sites are infested with trojan laden popups..

 

 

 

Anyway, since i am on this topic.. did any one got keylogged and lost all the items on ur a/c?

 

 

 

If yes, wad are the virus / trojans found... tats kinda common..

 

 

 

most of the keylogger trojan i read from some antivirus co. webby are targeted at specific games..
