Knotch_Blade
The updates of December 10, 2007, most people thought would kill Player to Player trading and the Wilderness. Although, In the eyes of Jagex this update is perfect. Jagex doesn't want what's best for it's players, but want best for all the people effected, which inturn returns back to us - the players. Goldfarmers, autoers, and RWT (real world trading) affect the RuneScape community, think how a WoodCutting pure, a skiller, or even someone who cuts logs for an income would be affected if their wasn't any autoers, Great Right?. Wrong, all of the other players would find it much more difficult to find resources, because their are by far more logs harvested by autoers than that of the "average" player. That being said you can't please all the masses. In Jagex's eyes their are trying to fix the real world problems before the in-game problems. If their are people working in sweatshops, that affects them in real life, and Jagex feels somewhat responsible for their assumed miserable lifestyle. That point being made the players are going to have to suck it up and bear with it, all the updates will be what is best for the game, in life or in Geilenor. In Leester's blog, it says that he came back because of all the new drops, the Dragon Full, the Dark Bow, and the God Wars Dungeon. Honestly, we have been given some of the best updates, and with summoning on the horizon what more could we want. Jagex does care about the players, yet they care much more about how RuneScape could be worsening someone's life, and they want to change that. In summary, Jagex wants everyone happy, yet that is impossible. We are happy the way we were a few weeks ago before the Dueling update, and before these updates and the updates to come. Whereas the people working in sweatshops as Goldfarmers real lives were/are unhappy because it is possible for them to continue working there, they want it gone, I am sure. Yet, no matter what laws (rules in this case) are raftified there will always be the few who break them, and for that we will always pay. Runescape will never be perfect, just as the world will never be. Altra
Sweatshops will still be around whether RS closes its doors or not. Either the companies will switch to a different game, or, if the company does shut down, the employees will seek a job elsewhere, not necessarily one with any better conditions :? Knotch_Blade
I am aware of this Altra, I was trying to bring the point across that Jagex wouldn't want the effects of that sweatshop on their shoulders. ~Knotch My Gamercard | Click for Blog | Mining Guide | Illumination
