I am attempting my first pixel sig and i need to put fire in it but i am not exactly sure how to do this and make it look good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Ive been doing alot of fire in a pixel im doing now and what I do is shade the area I want to be fire in pure bright yellow. Then you just pick a yellowish orange colour and shade it in, but leaving the yellow at the tips of the flames. Then just keep doing that with darker shades leaving the colour you used before showing near the top working your way to reds. Kinda hard to explain it... experiment
