Ok...ive had a virus for these past few days and it is impossible to remove. It will automatically close any programs with names that give away it is a virus scanner such as kill, help, virus etc.

 

 

 

Would some body be able to suggest a decent scanner which wont be picked up by my virus to get rid of it? I currently do not know the virus's name, but my friends believe it is Trojan.NetDevil .

 

 

 

Im using windows XP.

Scan with http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

 

 

 

If it still wont let you use that one. Restart you system in 'safe mode with networking' and try again.

 

 

 

Also scanning at this point with ad-aware and Spybot S+D wouldn't hurt.
