It will automatically close any programs with names that give away it is a virus scanner such as kill, help, virus etc. Would some body be able to suggest a decent scanner which wont be picked up by my virus to get rid of it? Phil Posted May 11, 2005 Share Posted May 11, 2005 Scan with http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ If it still wont let you use that one. Restart you system in 'safe mode with networking' and try again.
