if i was to get my smithing to 48 to smith steel pl8 bodys so i could high-alch them what would i buy to break even or make a profit? im going to buy nats but should i buy iron and coal or just one of the ores?

 

 

 

p.s. i wont as less work as possible =P im lazy

there is no way of breaking even if you buy the irons and coals, instead you will loose a lot of cash. If you mine them, you'll get a nice profit.

iron: 80ea

 

Coal: 160ea

 

Natures: 250ea

 

160x2 = 320 + 80 = 400

 

400x5 = 2000 + 250 = 2250

 

2250 - 1200 = 1050.

 

so you lose 1050 gp per steel plate

yes, if you can buy iron for 50ea, you would.

 

50 x 5 = 250 + 250 = 500

 

1200 - 500 = 700gp profit per alch
