VRDP trouble with VirtualBox

Featured Replies

I think I did everything right, starting the VirtualBox like:

VBoxVRDP -startvm "name of vm"

where "name of the vm" happens to be "XP" but that shouldn't matter

after setting port 3390 and enabling VRDP with vboxmanage..

but when I try to connect to it, it fails.

and for some reason all walkthroughs seem to describe what to do if you are on a Linux host, but I use XP Pro 64bit..

I use the x64 build of VirtualBox 1.5.4, I'm trying to use window's RDP thing on the same computer as the VM is (which is running XP Pro 32bit, has the guest additions installed, and has 1GB RAM), I also tried to connect to it from my other computer (on the same LAN) but that failed as well

the point of all this is letting a couple of friends mess with it, we need a VM for it and it needs to be remote-controllable by multiple users which is what VirtualBox should be able to do.. but I'm open to other suggestions
