This is not a very good idea. Kudos to you for thinking it up, though. But it takes entirely too much effort to flip your private on and off to possibly get your friend to come to Lumbridge, then emote to him every letter, and then have him translate. Too much work.. just do what a lot of other muted people have done; get a new account, move it through Tutorial Island, and go somewhere where you can talk to your friends in peace on that account while playing on your main account. OR you can get their screen names for a messaging service and use that.

Whats better, a muted player communicating by emotes/morse, or a muted player not being to communicate AT ALL?
