NETHACK - The Dungeons of Doom

(note: Nethack is a game and is not related to the net or hacking in any way)

Just wondering if anyone else here plays it?

Its a free game download and is very oldschool. (1980's oldschool)

If you like game quality over graphics quality, RPG's, dungeons and dragons type deal, a game so sickly difficult that it'll drive you nuts, indepth in items and monsters, I highly suggest take a look at this thing.

A humiliating defeat... was weakened after a battle with a roomfull of monsters then get killed by this thing:

Ive had some really good games but I lost my highscores

To tell you how hard this game is, ive been playing for nearly a year, and have never come close to beating it. If you want to play it be prepared to die your first hundred or so games before you get the hang of it.
