DA's definition of pixel art:

A form a digital art created entirely from a pixel by pixel basis from the ground up using the most simplest of tools (most commonly the pencil tool and the like). Every pixel is placed in a specific place with a purpose of enhancing the image and to complete the artist̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s original intent.

Works submitted here should have absolutely no digitally enhanced features such as: blurring, anti-aliasing, dodging, burning, rendering, etc. (Again, works here are formed pixel by pixel being lovingly placed where they are meant to be placed!) So even if your work has even a small bit of something that was not done in a pixel by pixel fashion then it does not belong in the pixel art galleries.

Also, a common misconception involves images that are either drawn or doodled using a pencil brush. However, though aliased in nature, these pieces are not created pixel by pixel and thus are not pixel art in nature! Submit into DIGITAL ART > OEKAKI where such deviations are better suited to sidetrack being issued a relocation.

Looks more like a strange type of Oekaki art or something. But even that is pushing it.

Anyways I like the thick cartoony effect, even if it isn't a true pixel. The white blur thing in the middle ruins it all though :(
