Looking for a good program to convert AVI/WMV to GIF

Title pretty much says it all, but what I'm looking for is something which in an easy to understand way can crop and AVI or WMV file and select a certain section and turn it into an animated gif.

 

 

 

If you know anything good for this then let me know ;)
