My second idea is that you might just want to use the zip version instead of the installer.

I'm running the latest version of netscape, trying to download the latest version of firefox from getfirefox.com. I have repeatedly downloaded and deleted the zip file. Open is not even an option for me, it's in gray. I dont even make it past the choose components dialog where you pick a typical or custom installation. Another thing is on the dialogue windows all the writing doesnt show up, in the accept liscence window you see the bubbles to check but not the words accept, decline. I've scanned for spyware and viruses. The problem isnt on their support site, so apparently, it's new to me or not frequent. :?

Zip file? Try just getting to the plain old exe. Make sure you have all the latest windows updates and what version of windows are you using?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Did you try downloading it through IE?
