yea i was browsing the forums and this popped up jsut like b4 when everyoen was getting hacked i thought i'd jsut point it out again7ot.png thta popped up three times the same as before thankfully i got my stuff in order could possibly be the same reason as before i dont know

Use Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. FF is a lot safer than IE.

 

 

 

OCX trojans/spyware only work in IE.

Firefox is not totally immune, it's just at this point MORE immune than IE (a lot more for that matter).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I doubt you got it from these forums, your virus scan might have been sifting through your temporary internet files when you were browsing the web and came across that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'd run a full scan on your system if you haven't already. If you have one instance, it might have propegated at some point, so you'll want to fix or delete the other instances, so they can't do more harm.

Firefox is totally immune to ActiveX trojans because it's an IE only feature.
