Which equipment should i get??

Hey all,

 

I just got mems today and am wondering which melee armour and weapon to buy.(ASD 74/73/68)

 

I should be training my defense to 70 real soon too.

 

 

 

I'm currently looking at barrows and dragon.I think bandos and 3rd age is definitely out of my league.

 

As for weapons, i got the whip already (the first thing i bought :) ) and i think i should (need to) get another to train strength.So suggestions here too

 

(dragon? i'll pass sgs for now)

 

 

 

I suppose dragon boots are the best, and how bout my cape? No skills are near 90 and I'm not looking towards Jad.

 

there should be about 50m+ in the bank.

 

 

 

My concern bout barrows is how long does it take to degrade and if its worth buying at my combat given that I think i might die exploring the new stuff.

 

As for the set effect, must i wield the weapon as well?

 

 

 

So which armour should i get? or is there any other suggestions other than the above all are more than welcomed.

 

If there's any other equipment like shields, amulets(getting glory),gloves (barrows) and nitty bits that you want to raise up I'll be even more grateful.

Dragon is useless for what you pay for it, so no.

 

 

 

Get Bandos armour, great defense and bonuses.

 

 

 

Barrows armour is fine with dregrade costs if you make over 17k/hour fighting with it.

 

 

 

Yes you need to wield the weapon for the effect.

Monkey Madness is worth doing for the D Scimmy. It's a pretty good Strength weapon.

Ehh, cape really isn't that important but if you feel up for the challenge of getting a Fire Cape then why not? :)

It doesn't degrade for a while. You have hours of solid combat training until it degrades and when it does the cost isn't really that expensive. It's definitely well worth it.
