So you will never find me comment on those type of graphic. The idea probably has been used a lot. An evil guy in a wizard robe with no face has been seen on many cartoons. Maybe you haven't seen lightning that much. That voltage of electricity can light up the sky. So it wouldn't be completely dark and left with the lightning.
