Looks like a pretty interesting concept and character designs. I checked out the original short film (also called "9") and it is pretty interesting too. you can find it on youtube Here

It's an animation, & the trailers seem to be mostly just running in the US so most people don't even know about it...

 

 

 

A group of sapient rag dolls, living a post-apocalyptic existence find one of their own, 9 (Elijah Wood), who displays leadership qualities that may help them to survive.

 

 

 

Impossible to judge it yet.. It's not even going to be out for a while
