January 13, 200917 yr While superheating mith you will actually make money or have a very minimal loss. With all non combat spells you will gain the same amount of experience no matter what items you alc or superheat. Try doing iron ores -> bars -> knives to raise your smithing. edit: do not superheat iron. buy rings of forging an smelt the bars at a furnace.
