Salad
OK well we got a new printer (HP Deskjet F4210 All-In-One) and I've been having problems. When I try to install the software of printer, it starts downloading and la la la but then it stops and says "Don't block the process of HP installation assistant" and says I need to but FireWall or Antivirus off and stuff. I click continue then later it says "hpzrein01[Caution: Executable File] got a problem and got to close" so I close it then I get another message saying "E:\Setup\hpzrein01[Caution: Executable File]" -l FRA -f "C:\WINDOWS\hpoins28.dat" -Validate NO -w 524838" and I click ok then i get "hpzrcv01[Caution: Executable File] got a problem and got to close." I close it then everything closes. Help??
BlueLancer
Hi, I researched your problem since so few people even bothered to open the topic. Several users online complained that this error happens while installing the Deskjet driver software by downloading via Internet Explorer 8 which corrupts the download for some reason. A suggested solution is downloading via FF or Opera. Post back if you have this problem or if you even used IE in the first place, so people can find other solutions if that doesn't fix it.
