Need help with a HDD using an external dock.

I recently went to a computer fair and picked up a Samsung 750GB HDD along with a Vantec NexStar Hard Drive Dock NST-D100, and I am unable to get the computer to recognise the drive, although Computer Management seems to detect it fine, and I have tried a quick format of both NTFS and exFat, which were the only 2 options, along with an NTFS format, with quick format off, and yet I can't get it to be recognised.

 

 

 

I can post any extra information if needed, and incase you were wondering why I got a 750GB HDD, it is because I want to end up using it in the desktop I want to build (the dock can still be later used for other HDDs when I buy some more) Also I am using Win 7 because Vista went corrupt on me and will take too long to find the disk of it (the problem of having everything unpacked from moving.)
