claerion Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 Im using Camstudio to record rs vids and other things however when I try and start recording it says that there is an error recording AVI file using current compressor. I'm using the DivX codec and thats what is giving me the trouble. When the error comes up it asks if I want to use the default compressor but it uses the microsoft video 1 and its Horrible! The quality is just terrible. So im not sure what I should do maybe reinstall DivX or maybe its some setting that I have messed up. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great, or even another Free screen recorder other than hypercam. Thanks. Stdueis sohw taht as lnog as the fisrt and the lsat letetr of wrods are croerct you wlil hvae no porbelm readninig a sentence.
