As some of the more eagled-eyed people may have seen, Jagex just re-opened the thread for reviewing permentantly banned accounts. Here you can list up to 5 accounts at a time and have the Jagex team review the ban circumstances to see if there's any way to get the account back into the game. Now's the time to try and get an account you feel was unfairly banned playing again :

 

 

 

Now, I'll get to the point - my selfish reason for posting this helpful bit of information. My account was banned (after two years of playing without a single black mark) for having an offensive name of all things. I got the feeling this was a kneejerk reaction to a player complaint, probably from someone who I refused to give stuff to, or leave "their spot".

 

 

 

Sadly I can't post in the thread as you have to be a playing member (stupid way to do things on Jagex's part), so I wondered if one person could post my account name in the thread for review? It's on the General forum. My account name is genocide77. If anyone is kind enough to do this, could you say so here so that they don't get multiple posts for this account? Cheers. Hope someone will be a good sport and do this for me, and maybe others that were similarly banned in a way they felt was unfair.

I believe the forums thread is for banned accounts only. It has guidelines listed in it for what you should and shouldn't post about there.

Are you even allowed to do this for a friend?
