Def - 60 Range - 63

 

Pray - 49 Mage - 55

If I trained only range and defence could I become a good tank or are my other levels too high?

getting higher stats are better, but train prayer and def mostly for tanking

attack and strength are too high for a range tanker, unfortunately

 

best tank raises only ranged and def, with 52 prayer.

so i could go for high range, def and pray?

At maxed out range tank your stats are good because you will be magic/ranged based.
