RSBDavid Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 My uncle gave me an Acer Aspire 3680 ZR1 laptop. He says his friends cat was sitting on it and he could smell burning plastic. THe laptop won't turn on. It will light up with power led for a second when you push the power button. I replaced the ram and used a different ac cord. Either the power supply or the mb is burned up.
