The guide on Tip it suggests that you get the bonus as soon as soon you light the fire.

 

EX:

 

- Light beacon + 608xp

 

- Light beacon 2 + 1622xp

 

- Light Beacon 3 + 1987xp

 

So at that point you'd have whatever xp you make from lighting the beacons and 4217xp from bonuses?

 

 

 

I was just wondering if it worked that way. It might not be so bad training fire making like that.

That's how it works, assuming that you don't let any of the beacons go out.
