I was browsing the General guides section when an Authentication window slid out of my browser - it wasn't a pop-up. Anyone else get this? Something about upgrading and "earthbound". It asked for a username a password, and told me to "come back in a few hours." Is this the forum upgrade, or some kind of weird sneak-attack? :P

Nah, it's just an authentication window generated by a .htaccess protection.

 

The person managing the website probably did an upgrade maintenance on it or something like that and had it closed off for public view while he did it.

 

Just click cancel, you won't get the user/pass right anyway. xD
