When fighting karamel in RFD, I managed to complete the entire fight (about 5 minutes) without being damaged. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the fact that i was using a mind shield (or elemental shield, possibly) has the same sort of effect it does for defending against skeletal wyverns. If anyone gets a chance to try this out, I'd be glad to hear the results.

The Crew has taken a look at your information and tested it in-game. However, we have confirmed that what you mentioned is not true, as equipping a mind shield or elemental shield does not prevent damage.
