I was curious as to what the best setup and kc would be to get the most profit out of it. I've been doing a ton lately and I can't seem to get any barrow items from the chest. Most of the time I get around 12 kc and open, but in the time I've gotten a Guthans spear, Vercas flail and a Ahrims hood totaling like 1.2m I've gotten almost 5m in runes and around 2-3k bolt racks. Is there something I'm doing wrong or am I in the boat with others who have terrible luck?

 

Setup:

Vercas helm brassy and skirt/ black hides

Black sally/ crystal bow/ dds/whip

Wizard boots

Skill cape

Fury

Barrows gloves

If there's a more efficient setup I wouldn't mind knowing it :D I get around 3-4 chests and run with it

my favourite way to do it is sgs/verac with teleporting each chest. With combat pots and 70+ pray you normally only use 1 dose of cb pot 1 monk and 1 tele per trip which means 2k lost per trip. I can normally make 300-400k an hour without and drops this way.

 

There might be cheaper ways but this is the best I know of. As for kc, it doesn't matter what kc you get as long as you have killed all the brothers but I normally get at least 9 to make sure I can get every type of rune.

I dont wana rope myself into a sgs right now, or that would be they way i do it, as for teleing I did that in the past not teleing makes me push almost dieing which makes something simple a little more.. fun i guess you can say

veracing without sgs is also a cheap method because you use no runes/tar. the only reason I suggest teleporting is because it saves you a p pot if you tele to your house then use altar and it only takes slightly longer than running out of tunnel.
