it says use mage protection whilst waiting for jad to spawn.

 

this is not true, you should use range protection as his range attack is a lot faster than magic, and you can easily change to magic if he uses it, this is not the case if he uses range and your protecting mage for the first part.

Thanks for posting this, I do recall using range protection myself. I also think having sound turned up to hear the first attack is a good idea, but I'll discuss this with the crew. Thanks!
