In the Magic skillguide, it is stated that combining the 10% damage boost of staffs with the 40% damage boost of extreme magic/overload potion results in a 50% damage boost. However, the boosts are applied seperately, resulting in a 54% damage boost.

 

Example: Ice Barrage: 30 * 1,1 * 1,4 = 46 (the true max hit)

30 * 1,5 = 45 (max hit according to tip.it)
