Mithril Dragon Guide (Monster Hunting Section) Update

Recommended Posts

As I was browsing through the Mithril Dragon section in the Monster Hunting Guide( http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=mith_dragon_hunting.htm ), I noticed that the picture (inventory) does not reflect what is suggested by the guide in text.

As you can see in the picture I have provided, the guide states that one is to switch to the enchanted diamond bolts after depleting a Mithril Dragon of around half of its health points, unfortunately, the guide's provided picture does not include these bolts, or any other bolts for that matter, in the inventory of the player. As this could cause unfortunate mishaps of rangers combating these creatures, either by quickly glancing at the inventory picture (as I have many times in the past as a quick reference, thinking they will match up perfectly) or because of other reasons (language barriers, people in a hurry, etc.), I request a new picture be taken of the proper inventory.

Also, further down the guide, after reviewing the existing topic for accuracy. I noticed that in the Ranged Method Suggested Inventory section, no bolts of any kind appear in the list. ( http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=mith_dragon_hunting.htm ) Also, since the arrow/bolt slot is in the Equipment menu, maybe adding a line of Arrows/Bolts: Diamond bolts (e) / Ruby bolts (e) in the Recommended Equipment section would be helpful, along with the addition to the Recommended Inventory section of a similar line.

Thank you for the time Tip.it staff took in reading this, and hopefully correcting these mistakes.

/\/\/\/\/\ EDIT /\/\/\/\/\

Edit: Added the corrected equipment/inventory picture after waiting a few days to see if anyone had one. Overlaid a new inventory picture over the old one, and re-uploaded. Hope this helps speed the updates along!

/\/\/\/\/\ Bump /\/\/\/\/\

Edited first post a while ago, and no action, assuming its because it looks like there hasn't been any posting activity on it on the list, so crewbies might not want to re-read a post they think hasn't been updated.

Good efforts getting the picture and noticing it. I'm sure it'll be changed soon.

Although the crew uses .png images, just so you know.

Did you convert from a jpg to a png? If so, it would still cause a loss of data. Unfortunately, if you do not have a bmp or some other sort or high-quality image of that saved, you'll most likely have to retake the image. Sorry.
